Kolade-Otitoju, who stated this yesterday on a TVC News ‘Journalists Hangout’ programme, was reacting to the raiding of Abuja forests and arrest of terrorists by Nigerian soldiers.
Recall that in the last few months, abductors of Kaduna-Abuja train crash victims have been allegedly collecting not less than N100m ransom from each person.
He said findings revealed that most terrorists had been using the ransom collected in Nigeria to erect high-rise buildings in parts of the Niger Republic.
WORSENING INSECURITY: We need foreign help, says Buhari
The Group Controller (Current and Public Affairs) at TVC News said he had interviewed some locals attacked by terrorists, and they confirmed that the perpetrators wore long hair and spoke a foreign language.
According to him, the terrorists, foreigners from neighbouring countries, usually use some Nigerians as informants to monitor their victims to abduct them for ransom.
