Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony of the ongoing 2022 world cup tournament in Qatar.

Davido’s performance at the closing ceremony of the world cup is scheduled to hold December 18th, 2022.

The news was confirmed by Stephen Hung, a Chinese businessman via a post on Instagram on Thursday.

Expressing his excitement over the news Hung said” “So happy my bro #Davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”

Although the singer is yet to make an announcement confirming his performance.

This will be his first international appearance, aside his uncle, Gov Ademola Adeleke’s inauguration in Osun state, after the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
