Manchester United, who were hoping to get their hands on the Europa League title, suffered a disappointing loss at the hands of Sevilla in Cologne.
Julen Lopetugi’s side were more clinical with their chances, in contrast to Ole Solskjaer’s United who created countless opportunities in front of goal but wasted them. And the only goal they got was from a penalty converted by Bruno Fernandes.
In spite of the disappointing evening, Manchester United can console themselves with the fact that they had made improvements within the squad and have qualified for next season’s Champions League.
