Manager of the Year
Liverpool’s excellent campaign during the last Premier League season to win the league after thirty years has earned 53-year-old Jurgen Klopp the manager of the year title.
He clearly stood out from other contenders such as Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City) and Chris Wilder (Sheffield United). He had previously won the manager of the year from the League Manager’s Association.
Under his direction, Liverpool won the league after thirty years with 99 points and won thirty-two out of thirty-eight games.
