Abducted Kogi Students Released.

There was wild jubilation in border town of Ajowa-Akoko as students of Kogi State Polytechinic, Lokoja who were abducted between Akunu and Ajowa were released from captivity hale and hearty.

A former majority Leader in Akoko Northwest local government, Hon Soji Ogedengbe who broke the news said undisclosed amount of money was paid as ransom.

The students are all indigenes of Ajowa-Akoko with commercial drivers were kept for some days in the den of kidnappers.

The released students were Obadero Florence,Aregbesola Oreoluwa,Ahmed Ifeoluwa ,Olarotimi Omotoyosi and Monday Momodu the driver.

Meanwhile, the Ajowa community has warned travelers to desist from passing through the deadly short route of Akunu-Ajowa rather they should endeavour to pass through  Akunu-1karam-Gedegede-Ajowa for safety sake.
