It is 25 days since the Acting Chairman of FCT Universal Basic Education Board has been held in captivity by terrorists that bombed the Kaduna-bound Abuja train.
The train that left Abuja that fateful March 28 by 6:00 pm over 900 passengers on board, among them was Alh. Alhassan Sule, Acting Chairman, FCT UBEC.

Rape: Police assure prosecution of 60 year old pastor
Alhassan Sule had just given his daughter out in marriage in a society wedding in his Abaji, Abuja community where dignitaries including senators, House of Representatives members, and other top government officials attended. His kidnap occurred barely one week after the wedding.
Rumors made the rounds recently that FCTA senior staff were being compelled to donate N20,000 each which would amount to N50 million to be used randomly for the release of the UBEB Acting Chairman.
However, the FCT Administration quickly denied that it was fake news. It appears the leaking of the information to the press was responsible for the abandonment of the project.

Also, the family could not be reached as the family has been in pain and confusion and would not accept visitors at the moment.
