Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) has condemned the decision of the Federal Government to redesign the naira.

Adeboye expressed his displeasure at the November Holy Ghost service of the church on Friday.

Recall that President Muhammadu Muhammadu Buhari and Governor of Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele had announced the plan to redesign the naira as part of efforts to curb money laundering.

Making his stance known, Adeboye said “Do you know what is happening in our country? It doesn’t make sense anymore.Our naira now, it is not even worth the paper it is printed on.

“And while people are hungry, trying to get enough money to buy bread to eat, our bosses are thinking of making the naira more beautiful”.
