Adeleke’s victory reflects confidence in his leadership, says Secondus

Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election.
He described the victory as a clear demonstration of the confidence the people of the state have in his leadership.
Secondus, in a congratulatory message, said Adeleke’s victory went beyond a triumph for the PDP, stressing that it represented the resolve of Osun voters to renew their mandate for the governor.
He said the outcome of the election reflected the people’s “unyielding faith, love and trust” in Adeleke, adding that the governor’s resilience, dedication and connection with the grassroots had contributed significantly to his electoral success.
The former PDP chairman urged Adeleke to use his renewed mandate to consolidate his administration’s programmes, particularly in sustainable development, human capital development and economic revival.
According to him, Adeleke’s commitment to grassroots development and his energetic approach to governance would be crucial to advancing the state’s development during his second term.
Secondus also called on the governor to use the opportunity provided by his re-election to unite the people of Osun State and ensure that the benefits of democracy reach residents across the state.
He prayed that God would grant Adeleke the wisdom, strength and good health required to fulfil the promises of his renewed mandate.
“Once again, congratulations, my governor,” Secondus said.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Adeleke the winner of the August 15 governorship election, securing a second term in office.
