The Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, has congratulated Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara on his emergence as the Acting National Chairman of the party.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Senator Aduda described Takushara’s appointment as a moment of pride for the FCT PDP family, commending his dedication, visionary leadership, and loyalty to the ideals of the party.
“On behalf of the entire FCT PDP family, I extend our profound congratulations to Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara on his well-deserved emergence as the Acting National Chairman of our great party,” Aduda said.
He noted that Takushara’s unanimous endorsement reflected the deep trust reposed in his leadership and confidence in his ability to steer the PDP with wisdom, unity, and renewed purpose.
Aduda stated that Takushara’s emergence marked a new era of hope and cohesion within the party as it undergoes internal restructuring and prepares for future national engagements.
He added that since the North Central zone originally produced the former National Chairman, Takushara’s elevation was both constitutional and timely, ensuring continued stability within the PDP.
“We recognize the weight of the responsibility you have taken on, and we are confident that you will lead with courage, inclusiveness, and strategic vision,” he said.
The former Senate Minority Leader assured that the entire FCT PDP family stands solidly behind the new acting chairman in the effort to reposition the party and strengthen democratic values across the country.
Aduda concluded by praying for wisdom and divine guidance for Takushara as he assumes his new role.
