Paul Okoye, half of the PSquare duo, has joined Nigerians to blame President Muhammadu Buhari for the Super Eagles loss to Tunisia at the AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
Tunisia had defeated Nigeria 1-0 on Sunday to proceed to the quarterfinal of the tournament.
Reacting to the loss, Nigerians had blamed President Buhari for speaking to the Super Eagles before the match.
Paul Okoye, in a video posted on Instagram, asked the Super Eagles who picked the President’s call.
He said “Everything is just going wrong. First, it was ‘who gave the order?’. Now, who picked the call. Who picked the call among una?”

A presidential aide, Reno Omokri also claimed that the President’s call jinxed the match for the Super Eagles. ”
He took to his Instagram page on Sunday after the loss and wrote: “Iwobi red card, Iheanacho yellow card. All the time they have been playing this never happened.
“Why is it that it is the day that they spoke to Buhari that these series of unwelcome events rained on us! This is not about politics at all. This is about being spiritually conscious. Energies are very contagious. Avoid negative people!”
