Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has predicted that her latest movie ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ will break records.
Akindele noted that the movie, which premiered on Sunday night in Lagos will make a whooping sum of N5 billion when it arrives in the cinema this December.
Speaking in a viral video with some cast of the movie, Akindele said, “We are making N5 billion this year”.
If the movie achieves the projected figure, it will break the record set by another Funke Akindele’s film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, which became the first Nigerian movie to hit one billion naira.
Various Nigerian celebrities graced the premiere of the much-expected movie, including Akindele’s estranged friend, Eniola Badmus.
