By Francis Ajuonuma
As year-end festivities draw near and passenger demand spikes nationwide, Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, has ramped up its domestic operations with additional flights and the restoration of key routes to ease holiday travel.
The airline announced that from Sunday, December 14, 2025, it has injected extra capacity across major domestic corridors, strengthening connections from Lagos and Abuja to Owerri, Asaba, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Kano, Benin and Anambra to meet seasonal travel pressure.
Air Peace also expanded services to northern destinations, improving frequencies and connectivity to Yola, Maiduguri and Gombe through Lagos and Abuja on select days, a move aimed at ensuring smoother and more dependable travel during the festive rush.
In a development welcomed by travellers, the airline confirmed the return of its Warri operations.
The Lagos–Warri route will now operate two daily return flights, while Abuja–Warri services are scheduled to resume from December 17, 2025, with ticket sales already underway.
The capacity expansion highlights Air Peace’s anticipatory response to peak-season demand and its resolve to sustain wide domestic coverage and operational reliability.
Passengers have been advised to book early through the airline’s official channels and accredited travel agents, as flights are expected to fill up rapidly.
