Sulaiman Haruna, the media aide to the First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has reacted to the buzz generated from some new photos of the President’s wife.
ThisNigeria reported that some Nigerians had questioned whether Mrs Buhari was pregnant after photos of her cradling what appeared to be a baby bump covered with a black shawl surfaced online.
Clearing the air during an interview with BBC Hausa, Haruna denied that the First Lady was sick or pregnant.

“I can assure you 100 per cent that our first lady is perfectly okay. She is neither sick nor pregnant as some reports claim.
“Some of these reports are from mischief-makers who don’t mean well. You know, nowadays, people can tamper with photos,” he said.
