Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has described the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, TB Joshua as a man who was a gift to the world.
Akeredolu said this on Friday at the laying-to-rest/internment of the deceased prophet which held at the church’s auditorium in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
The Governor who took the first reading at the internment service urged Nigerians to always “be their brothers’ keeper and look out for one another at every point in time.”
“We are proud to celebrate our dear son because he hailed from Ondo State. He was a gift to the world. Nigeria has lost a rare gem, a special breed. His passing is indeed a great loss, not only to the state but a loss to humanity. The last time people from different parts of the world came together like this was when Nelson Mandela died.

“He contributed greatly to uplifting the downtrodden. He was not born with a silver spoon but he was a special child who was born with special gifts. We all saw the wonders he performed, not only with the less privileged but those that are privileged. I am a living testimony to what TB Joshua was capable of.
“He once drove all the way from Lagos to Owo to see me when I won my election. He said to me that he came to wish me well. He prayed and when he was leaving, he gave me some money. He said as a governor, I would need to entertain people. TB Joshua also gave my wife some money. That is why I am here today. I owe him the duty to be here,” the governor said.
Present at the event includes the Queen of Ile-Ife, Olori Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi, publisher of Ovation Magazine, Bashorun Dele Momodu and several other dignitaries
TB Joshua died on June 5th, 2021, a week to this 58th birthday.
The cause of his death was undisclosed.
