Akinbile-Yussuf hails Fajimi’s triumph at national boxing competition

A two-time commissioner and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos State, Pharm. (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, has congratulated rising boxer Taiye Fajimi on his impressive victory at the Super Lightweight Boxing Competition held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium.

In a statement issued on Monday, Akinbile-Yussuf commended Fajimi, a native of Agbado-Okeodo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), for his outstanding performance, describing the win as a testament to hard work, discipline, and resilience.

She noted that the early morning bout showcased the young boxer’s determination and technical ability, adding that his success has brought honour and recognition to Agbado-Okeodo LCDA, Lagos State, and the country at large.

According to her, Fajimi’s victory extends beyond personal achievement, serving as a powerful motivation for youths across communities to pursue their ambitions with focus and perseverance.
