Mixed reactions have trailed a shocking interview granted by Prince Harry and his wife, former actress Meghan Markle over the alleged ill-treatment meted out to them by some members of the British Royal Family.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan detailed her experience during her first pregnancy and alleged that she was denied access to to treatment for depression.
““I… just didn’t want to be alive anymore. And that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought,” she said.
The former “Suits” star also alleged that an unnamed member of the Royal Family expressed worry over the skin tone of her first child, Archie, before he was born.
““In those months when I was pregnant… we have in tandem the conversation of ‘he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan told Winfrey.

Reacting to the interview, some Twitter users declared support for Meghan and Harry while some condemned the couple for the interview, saying it painted the Royal Family in a bad light.
UK media personality, Piers Morgan tweeted: “This interview is an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the Queen and the Royal Family. I expect all this vile destructive self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle – but for Harry to let her take down his family and the Monarchy like this is shameful.”
