Former director-general of the Bureau of Public Sector Reform and Barrister, Joe Abah has come under harsh criticism over his stand on the Al-Qaeda controversy surrounding the Minister for Communications, Dr Isa Pantami.
Responding to a question from a Twitter user, @christka who asked Abah his view on Pantami’s controversy, the Barrister tweeted that he was of the opinion that Pantami should have renounced his extremist views and apologised for them before he was exposed.
“My view is that a number of the things the Minister said in the past were misguided and wrong, and that he should have publicly renounced those views, apologised for them and actively campaigned to repair the damage they would have done, before he was confronted with them,” Abah tweeted.

Reacting to Abah’s tweet, some Twitter users dug up his old tweet asking for the immediate resignation of a former Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun for certificate forgery.

The tweets sparked reactions from Twitter users, who berated Abah who describes himself as a “fencist”, for having different views on both Pantami and Adeosun’s controversies.
