Nigerians have berated the controversial “Happie Boyz” over their utterances to their sponsor, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, General Overseer Omega Power Ministries (OPM) International.
Recall that the boys, who were former staff of a popular eatery in Nigeria, were sacked after they were caught in a video dancing on duty.
Subsequently, Apostle Chinyere offered to take charge of the boys and immediately sent them to a University in Cyprus.
However, in a recent development, the boys revealed that the clergyman had suspended their scholarship over his inability to pay their school fees.
They had cried out online over the hardship they were facing in Cyprus due to their inabilty to work as students are reportedly not granted work permits.
Following their revelation, a leaked audio of the clergyman laying curses on the boys surfaced online.
Reacting to the audio, the boys accused Apostle Chibuzor of “using their glory” to fund his lifestyle.
Subsequently, Apostle Chibuzor announced that he had restored their scholarship and booked a return ticket for them back to Nigeria.
However, the boys, in a new video shared online, declared that they were not coming back to the country, adding that they did not need the scholarship anymore .
Reacting to the video Nigerians knocked the boys, describing them as ungrateful.
