Amajiris breeding ground for criminalities – Dambazua

Hon. Shamsudeen Bello Dambazua is the member at the National Assembly Representing Takai/ Sumaila Federal Constituency, Kano state on Tuesday said the Amajiri system most especially in the Northern part of Nigeria is a Breeding ground for Criminalities.

He said most of the insecurity ongoing in the Northern Nigeria are from this section of the society.

The Federal Lawmaker who is the son of the former Chief Army Staff and Minister of Defense, General Dambazua retired wondered how parents would allow their children to freestyle the country without proper upbringing.

He said life has changed dramatically for parents to produce children they cannot care for and at the end they are been breed or converted into different criminal activities.

Hon. Dambazua said is worried about the high rate of out of school children hence his committee for Basic Education and Services in the House of Representatives are seriously working in conjunction with all stakeholders in ensuring that our children are given the opportunity to have Basic knowledge of education.

“In line with that, I have been able to give back to my constituent. I have ensured that the children are back to schools. I provide them with the basic materials including tables and chairs, books, providing school buildings and making the school environment conductive for learning. So, in history of my constituency, the story is there that I have done many schools, provision of school furnitures, just name it.

On youth restiveness and unemployment, Hon. Shamsudeen Dambazua said the high rate can be trace to the non stable of Electricity in Nigeria.

He said with stable power supply, small and medium shame businesses will move thereby providing employment for the youths.

“Electricity stands at the center of everything. If Federal Government provides stable power, SMS will boom, everyone will be busy, jobs will be provided, the economy will be stable, because electricity drive the economy.”
