Skitmaker Abdullahi Adisa popularly known as Trinity guy has been remanded in prison.
A Magistrates court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo state, on Monday ordered the remand of Adisa for allegedly sexualizing a minor in one of his skits.
He was arraigned before Magistrate Olúdáre Adebayo, on a two count charge bothering on of Sexual Abuse and sexual exploitation violating Secs 516 of the Criminal code cap 38.
Counsel to the defendant had filed for bail for his client before the court.
However, the bail was rejected and the court, in its ruling, ordered his remand alongside the parents of the minor until the next hearing of the case.
The case has been adjourned till July for further hearing.
The skitmaker got into trouble following calls from activists and child protection agencies after his skit where he asked a minor to describe his genital went viral.
