A governorship aspirant in the Anambra state gubernatorial poll, Paul Orajiaka has stated that he is in the race for the seat to deepen the entrepreneurial skill of his people.
Orajiaka made this declaration when he fielded questions from journalists shortly after he returned his nomination forms to the All Progressive Congress, APC, national secretariat in Abuja saying that his love for his people is what is driving him to run for the governorship election.
He said also that his passion for service and the need to chart a new course for the uplift of the Anambra people is a clarion call that he has given nod to believing that when elected in the November 6 governorship election, he will be willing to do all that he has promised to do for the people.
” I think the fact that I am coming prepared from an entrepreneurial background for a state that is known for trade and commerce, is not what the present government has in its curriculum vitae.
” I am bringing in entrepreneurial experience for a state that is known for entrepreneurship. I am bringing in freshness, energy, a capacity that we don’t see in this current dispensation.

” So, I think to a large extent, this key thing I have mentioned, youthfulness, preparedness, in all fronts, education and business stand me well among the pack.
He said he has taken his time to traversed the 21 local government Councils of Anambra state noting that: ” Over the years, I have taken time to traversed the over 21 local government councils. And, I came out with a finding that was subjected to empirical research. And that came to give us the solutions that we are going to drive in Anambra.
” With an agenda, we called SHEER which stands for Security, Health, Education, Employment, Electricity and most importantly Road. This sheer agenda is what I tell everybody willing that we are going to make it happen with a resounding victory come November 6″, he said.
It is, however, to be noted that the party’s governorship primaries are to tell June 26 while the main election is slated for November 6.
