The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 6 election in Anambra state, Senator Andy Uba said the party will liberate Anambra once it takes over he reins f power in the state.
Uba stated this in Awka, the State capital during ay the reception ceremony organized for him by the leadership of the party in the state to welcome him from Abuja after his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, who handed the APC flag to him.
He said the minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola was already on his way to Anambra to ensure that the failed portion of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway was fixed.
According to him, “That is the benefit of being connected to the center. The minister is on his way now to Anambra. This failed portion that is causing the traffic on this road would be fixed.
“Anambra will be liberated. In fact, Anambra is already liberated.”

“The day the President gave me the flag of our party is the day Anambra was liberated,” he said.
“My party members, you have seen what God can do. We are calling on all to join hands with us to remove APGA and fix Anambra”
The candidate was received by a mammoth crowd of party faithful who trooped out to receive him at Agu Awka Junction along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway, Awka.
