Anchor University management has disowned a self-proclaimed lecturer, one Chidi Ogbuehi saying he is not an employee of the institution as claimed by an online publication recently.
In a statement issued by the school Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Ighalo, he noted that Chidi Ogbuehi had been a staff in the Mass Communication Department of the University in the past but his appointment was terminated in October 2021.
He continued: “And as such, Ogbuechi ceases to be a staff of the university from the day his appointment was terminated”, he stressed.

He, however, disclosed that the school management has dissociated itself from whatever misdemeanor Ogbuechi was linked to or associated with in the media.
He, therefore, requested that henceforth Ogbuechi should not be referred to as a staff of the institution in anyway again.
It would be recalled that Ogbuehi was reportedly arrested and detained for allegedly siding his brother, Solomon, to abscond in Israel during pilgrimage, whom he stood for as a guarantor.
