There was anger on Wednesday among members of the Tricycle Operators Association and residents of Awka the Anambra state capital as suspected ritualists raped a tricycle operator.
The victim whose name could not be readily ascertained as at the time of this report was said to have been raped by three men for ritual purposes.
It was learnt that the young men suspected to be involved in Yahoo plus were to have negotiated with the tricyclist to take them to their house in Okpuno, a suburban town in Awka when the incident happened on Monday.
The Yahoo Boys were to have lured the unsuspecting tricycle operator into their house where they took turns raping him.

Police Public Relations Officer of the State Command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga who confirmed the incident, disclosed that one of the suspects has been arrested, while others are on the run.
Ikenga said the commissioner of police has ordered the transfer of the matter from Central Police Station (CPS), where the complaint was formally lodged to the state Criminal investigation department.
According to him, “The Commissioner of police has ordered the transfer of the case to state CID for a discretion investigation. Preliminary information showed that the suspect hired the victim who is a tricycle rider and lured him into a room before having carnal knowledge of him.
“Meanwhile, the result from the doctor’s report showed that there was penetration into his anus, but the arrested suspect has denied it. Further details shall be communicated as investigations are still ongoing,” he said
