The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire was this afternoon ridiculed by his kinsmen at the ongoing National Convention of the Ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), in Abuja.
This is even as the former National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was thunderously welcomed by the same delegates from the state.
The leaders who were moving around the delegate stands received different treatment from their townsmen.
While the Minister of Health was booed and disgraced out of the stand, the former Labour leader was welcomed and treated like a king.
The Minister of Health who was asked to leave the stand or be beaten up, shamefully sneaked out of the Edo State stand to avoid the unfortunate story.
A delegate who did not want his name in print told ThisNigeria that Dr. Ehanire is an Abuja politician who does not relate with his people at home.
He said: “What has he done for his people since he became a Minister. He said he is not a party man but for eight years he has been benefiting from the party. He has never held any town hall meetings with his people. It is all about him and his family. If he comes here again we are going to disgrace him more than this one”.

Another Edo state son and former federal lawmaker, Senator Domingo Alaba Obende was also booed for engaging in anti-party activities during the last Edo State Governorship Elections.
Senator Obende who represented Edo North Senatorial District, in the National Assembly was not allowed to address the Edo delegates for daring to work for Governor Godwin Obaseki against the party’s candidate.
