A senator representing Abia-South District of Abia State, Enyinnaya Abaribe has reacted to the defection of a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Abaribe, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), slammed Fani-Kayode for his move and described him as a confused being.
The lawmaker made his opinion known during an interview with Arise News monitored by ThisNigeria on Friday.
Fani-Kayode’s defection was announced on Thursday by the Presidency via Facebook.
Speaking on the defection, Abaribe said “I do not want to dwell on his issue. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had said it all before. He said “Femi Fani-Kayode is my boy. Provide him food, he will eat and then sing for you. He’s a smart boy.”

Abaribe stated further that the PDP will take over from APC come 2023.
“No one can really pinpoint any good thing done by APC since 2015. The PDP will win the presidential election in 2023,” he said.
