The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) lawyer Femi Falana, SAN and the Federal Government Lawyer James Igwe, SAN have failed to resolve the dispute on the eight-month-old strike.
The lawyer failed to reach out of court on Thursday.
Falana told Channels Television about the lawsuit and that the union will go to National Industrial Court.

“ASUU is going to court. It is going to be the NIC.”
He added that “their application challenging the ruling of the Industrial Court, be heard by the three-man panel of the Appeal court.”
The president of ASUU, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke also confirmed that the Union is going to the National Industrial Court.
