Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has condoled with the Founder of the Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya over the death of his wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
Pastor Taiwo had announced Nomthi’s death on Tuesday, November 9th.
According to the statement he posted on his Instagram page, Nomthi had battled cancer for two years before her demise.
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
“She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God.

“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi” the statement read.
Reacting to Nomthi’s death via Twitter on Wednesday, Atiku prayed that the deceased’s soul finds gentle repose.
“On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to the Odukoya family, friends & loved ones and pray that her soul finds a gentle repose,” he tweeted.
