Austin Okai: Ododo’s aide threatens governor’s detractors

Special Adviser to Kogi Governor on Youth and Student Affairs, Oladele Nihi, has dared opposition members in the state, following the arrest of a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Austin Okai.

Okai was arrested on Wednesday morning by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly on the directive of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Heavily armed security operatives took Okai away from his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

His arrest is connected to his allegation of embezzlement against the government of Ododo.

Reacting to Okai’s arrest, Nihi, in a post on his Facebook insisted that “no one has a monopoly of madness”, threatening to go all out against detractors of Governor Ododo.

“If you do anyhow for this Kogi State, you go begin see anyhow now. Nobody has monopoly of madness,” the Special Adviser said in one of his posts.

In another post, Nihi said, “We’ll Resist any attempt to distract Gov. Usman Ododo progressive and people friendly Government.
Enough of all this nonsense.

“Those who make peaceful reign impossible will make violent retaliation inevitable.
Nobody has monopoly of madness. Gentility of tiger is not a symbol of his timidity. Let’s be guided!!!”

The aide’s position has continued to generate diverse reactions amongst the people of the state.
