Nigerian stand-up comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY has settled the rift between him and Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti.
The two entertainers have been at loggerheads for nearly two years.
However, in a turn of events, AY extended an olive branch to the son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.
The comedian, in a post he made on Instagram and tagged Seun, called for peace among them.
He wrote, “A big shoutout to my brother, Seun Kuti. Sometimes, misunderstandings happen, but what matters is that love and respect always find their way back.”
In November, 2023, AY and Seun Kuti had a heated exchange on social media, taking jabs at each other in a widely-publicised altercation.
