Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has reportedly gotten over NN67 million in cash transfers in one hour after he threatened his friends that he need them to send him  N1 million each.

Davido in a video had called on all his friends to send him a million naria each saying that he has been helping people now is their turn to help him.

He threatened his friend that if he did not get what he asked they are gone ”If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone.” he said

He said “We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 100 years. So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one one million Naira. They said we are 30BG. If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone.”

The singer in the video posted his account number for them to send the money  into it.

Among those who sent money to the singer’s account are  Hon. Akin Alabi, founder of online betting company Nairabet, and popular businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-money, Mr Eazi, Teni the Entertainer, Chike, Adekunle Gold, Perruzi, and Ikorodu Bois.
