Bandits on Sunday attacked the Jos correctional Service Center.
Some eyewitnesses who spoke to our correspondent said that the sporadic gunshots which started around 5:50 pm continued till 6 .30 pm.
Officials of the Jos Correctional Center were not reachable for comments, but at the time of sending this report, security operatives have cordoned off the road leading towards Jos correctional center which also houses the DSS, the Police A division, the Police headquarters, and the police barracks.
The development created tension around the vicinity of the correctional Service Center.
Details of the attack are still sketchy at the time of sending this report.
