Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has apologised to people he might have offended, including fellow comedian, AY.
In a video posted on his X page, Basketmouth said only God knows the truth, especially regarding those who have accused him of affecting their career negatively.
He said; “Now, to all the people in the industry that I’ve offended over time, knowingly or unknowingly, I say this to you right now, from the bottom of my heart, I am genuinely sorry, please forgive me.
“To the people that have accused me of mean things that I’ve affected their career in one way or the other, I am not going to accept or deny these allegations, God knows the truth but regardless please, forgive me, I beg you from the bottom of my heart.
He also mentioned comedian AY Makun, urging him to forgive and settle their 17-year grudge

“Now, to my guy AY, I don’t know if my apology is still valid right now, but if it is, please forgive me for whatever I have done or said in the past that affected you in any way, Please, forgive me.
“I want you to know that I’ve forgiven you for whatever you said knowing or unknowingly. It’s gone, I just want us to live with peace and harmony,” he pleaded.
