Woli Arole condemns surrogacy for healthy women

Popular comedian and cleric, Woli Arole has condemned opting for surrogacy despite being medically healthy and capable of bearing children.

In a recent Instagram post, the on-air personality said women who are capable of carrying their babies should do so, noting that the natural way of giving birth is a blessing.

Clarifying his position, Woli Arole okayed the utilisation of IVF or surrogacy in cases where there is a medical condition.

Stressing that the woman’s body is God’s temple, the comedian said the feminine gender should stop saying they don’t feel like carrying a pregnancy.

He wrote, “Listen carefully, it is a blessing for a woman to carry her baby in her womb, that is how God wants it. Do not let wokeness derail you. Unless for medical reasons she can adopt options like surrogacy, IVF, and all.

“You cannot say ‘my body my decision, I do not feel like carrying a child I want surrogacy’. Nooooooo, your body is God’s temple.”
