Bauchi: Tinubu’s aide shares water by tanker to residents

A Senior Special Assistant to the President, Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba, has come under heavy fire for distributing water to residents in Bauchi Local Government Area as part of Community Engagement for the Northeast region.

The incident, which took place on Friday, drew attention, especially after a banner reading, “Water Distribution Among Communities in Bauchi LGA by SSA to the President on Community Engagement, North East Region,” was visibly displayed near the tanker.

The development earned the presidential SSA a knock as netizens wondered why he didn’t build a borehole in the region instead.

One Abdullahi wrote, “Innalillahi what we constantly overlook has started eating us up, astaghfirullah 😭😭😭”

“We lack sense of development abeg,” Dan Sarkin reacted.

For Kunle Ajayi, “This is the height of mockery and disrespect to the people. Since when did Nigeria get to this level? May God save us.”

“Still wondering if these guys didn’t see that influencer who did a borehole for a community,” Johnny Blaze said.

Abdul wrote, “You have the capacity and funds required to construct a bore hole in that community if you want to help them and put your banner than using tanker to distribute water that will not last them two days!! It’s best if you don’t do anything then!!”

IT ESQ said, “They felt embarrassed by the benevolence of Seyi Tinubu who gave them rice and so they are proud to receive water as empowerment from their own.”
