
The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Hakeem Yusuf has urged Nigerians to be grateful that the body of Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti did not end up in the Lagos lagoon.
Yusuf made the call in a comment he allegedly dropped under a post on Facebook.

He wrote: “Come and slap police also. Thank God his body was not being looked for in the waters of Third Mainland Bridge.”

ThisNigeria reports that Seun Kuti assaulted a policeman on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
Defending his action, the singer claimed that the officer tried to kill him and his family.
He was subsequently arrested and charged to court after turning himself in to the police, following the arrest order issued by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba.
