Controversial social media infleuncer, Daniel Regha, has slammed media personality, Toke Makinwa and Nollywood actor, Funke Akindele, for travelling to Paris despite the bedbug infestation the country is facing.
Addressing the duo in an X post, Regha said, “Not Toke Makinwa, Funke Akindele & some Naija celebs visiting Paris despite the bedbug outbreak; Just to attend a concert. Funke was contesting in the last elections, but is this how to show leadership?”
“Putting the whole nation at risk just to get highlights. All it takes is one carelessness & this outbreak hits Nigeria”.

ThisNigeria reports that figures released in July by the French health authorities show more than one in ten households in the country have been affected by bedbugs in the past five years.
Paris Deputy Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire wrote on social media platform X that “no one is immune,” and said health authorities and local communities needed to work together on prevention.
