
President Bola Tinubu has summoned the minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to the Presidential Villa.
Tunji-Ojo was summoned over payment of N438m as consultancy fee to a company linked to by the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu.
ThisNigeria reported that Tinubu had on Monday suspended Edu over the payment of more than N500m to a private account belonging to one Bridget Onyielu.
The President also ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe Edu and the Minstry’s financial transactions.
