Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has said that the group is working closely with the people of Yorubaland to actualise Biafra and Oduduwa Republic.
Kanu made this known while fielding questions from callers via Radio Biafra on Friday.
The IPOB leader also stated that the the group had held series of meetings with some representatives from Yorubaland over the disintegration of Nigeria.
“We are working very closely with our Yoruba brothers to actualise Biafra and Oduduwa Republic. We have held series of meetings together. Our Yoruba brothers have now woken up. We will not go behind their backs to cut deals with the Fulani as revenge for the civil war.
“The Fulani people have been playing us against each other while they remain at the helm of things and impoverishing us. That system has come and gone. We are one with the Yoruba people right now. The Yoruba people will own Dangote refinery and we will give them oil and gas for free. Our mission is to free everybody and develop the South,” Kanu said.
Earlier, human rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho called for the disintegration of Nigeria and the actualisation of Oduduwa Nation.
In a viral video, Igboho lamented that all the Federal establishments in the South-West were controlled by persons of Fulani origin.

“As it stands now, we are no longer under Nigeria. If they don’t intervene, it will go beyond control. We have gone beyond the point where we keep quiet, we are no longer scared to voice out.
“We are not safe anywhere, we can’t sleep in peace, we can’t travel in peace, what have we done? Are we slaves? We don’t do wrong by existing, we only chose the wrong leaders and we are saying enough is enough!
“Tincan in Lagos, Apapa, the directors are Fulani men. The two ports we have, the controllers are Fulanis. We don’t want them anymore!,” he said.
