A political group, Tinubu Vanguard, has described the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, as a symbol of wisdom and patriotism.
The Director-General of the group, Dr. Johnny Benjamin, said this in a statement on Monday, against the backdrop of Ooni’s 47th birthday anniversary.
Benjamin commended Ogunwusi for always standing by the truth and also fighting for the interest of the Nigerian youth population.
He described the traditional ruler as a philanthropic Nigerian who takes pride in empowering and supporting Nigerian youths.
“We rejoice with Ooni on his 47th birthday anniversary. He is a patriotic Nigerian who has displayed a commitment to peaceful coexistence in the country.
He is also a pillar of support for young people in Nigeria, thereby rekindling the passion of selfless service to mankind.
“As Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers, the Ooni has shown immense commitment to unity and peaceful coexistence of all the diverse groups in Nigeria,” he said.

He called other traditional rulers in the country, and other Nigerians to emulate his patriotism and selfless service for peace and unity in the country.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ogunwusi, who is the 51st and current Ooni of Ife, celebrated his 47th birthday recently, having been born on Oct. 17, 1974.
