The acting Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali on Tuesday launched an operation codenamed Operation Restore Peace (Operation RP) in the Southeast geo-political zone.
Alkali said the operation was customized to bring back the cherished peace that the southeast was known for.
The launch of the Operation RP which took place at the the Okpara Square in Enugu had in attendance Southeast Governors led by Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
