
Following the suspension of Twitter in Nigeria by the Federal government the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), has said that it will take the government of President Muhammadu Buhari court.
SERAP said ‘it fight to keep the right of Nigerians to freedom of expression and access to information including online.
SERAP said: “BREAKING: We’re suing Nigerian authorities over their ILLEGAL indefinite suspension of Twitter in Nigeria.
“Nigerians have a right to freedom of expression and access to information including online, and we plan to fight to keep it that way.

“@NigeriaGov, we’ll see you in court,” SERAP tweeted.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension in a statement in Abuja on Friday.
The minister cited the persistent use of the platform for activities capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.
