CAF Confederations Cup Draws, We Fear No Foes Kano Pillars Boasts.

Nigeria’s flag bearer in the forth coming 2020/2021 Total CAF Confederation cup, Kano Pillars fc have dismissed the threat posed by their pairing against AS Giraffe of Senegal, in the preliminary stages, boasting that they will zoom past their Senegalese foes.
The draws conducted by Africa’s football governing body, Confederation of African Football CAF on Monday night, Sai Masu Gida would hit the road to Senegal against their foes, AS Giraffe at the Demba Dioup stadium in Dakar before returning to play host to the Senegalese at the Ahmadu Bello stadium Kaduna, in the second leg of the first round of the elimination stages.
Reacting to the pairings of the draws, the Media Officer, Kano Pillars, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa stated that the camp of the Kano soccer warlords receive the news of the draws with confidence.
He said “ with the caliber of players we have on the ground , we are ready for the challenge, it is the title that bothers our camp and not about the Senegalese, because our mission is to go out to challenge for the second most prestigious African club football title .
He disclosed to TN Sport that the camp of the Kano side is injury free and fit to compete against their Caf rivals, he said the team is highly motivated and in high spirit.
According to him, challenges that may have arisen due to the outbreak of Covid-19 had affected all football clubs across the club, arguing that in the circumstance of any deficiency caused by the outbreak of the pandemic all clubs are affect, arguing that this would not serve to the detriment of the Kano side only.
In his words “ we have Kano state government strongly behind us, the state government is the number one supporter of the club and we are confident it will continue to do what it is doing for the team both financially and morally.
“we are going to Senegal with the confidence that we will fly Nigeria pride very high on the African continent, we are not underrating the Senegalese, but with the support from our state government, our fans ,Kano people and Nigerians we will overcome, we will not disappoint Nigerian football fans.”Malikawa averred .
