Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have noted a laughable, embarrassing, and disgraceful statement attributed to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) over the latest false accusation that IPOB killed a Hausa woman and her children in Anambra State
It also said it was disgraceful the Christian body’s participation in these falsehoods against the peaceful movement and family seeking the freedom of Biafra and all Indigenous People in Nigeria.

IPOB in a statement on Saturday by its Director of Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful noted that CAN never understand that IPOB under Mazi Nnamdi KANU is dying every day for the Indigenous People across the country.
Powerfully said, “The unfolding events have confirmed that the leadership of CAN has lost focus and made itself available for purchase by the enemies of Biafrans and the Christian Community in Nigeria.”

“These latest unguarded statements indicated and shows that CAN leadership are not just clueless but useless in carrying out its core duty as an umbrella organization set by Christians to protect their interest and members.”
“it wondered, “How on earth could CAN which has woefully failed to protect its members in Nigeria now suddenly find its lost voice to champion the cause of a Muslim woman murdered by criminals who were recruited and created by the Nigeria government to carry out its clandestine evil work in its desperation to set the Biafrans against the Hausas and in the hope that IPOB will be called a terror group by the international community.”

“The former Muslim man who became pastor Adebayo Oladeji and unfortunately became one of the leadership of CAN should know that they are a bunch of abysmal failures and every Christian in Nigeria knows them and their inefficiency as a Christian body.*
The group stated “IPOB is known as a peaceful movement seeking for freedom of the Biafran people and its Indigenous tribes from the same Nigeria that has found great pleasure in murdering Christians. The loss of focus on its core responsibility and ignorance is driving CAN and its leaders blindfolded into a ditch. They have abandoned truth and made falsehood their bedfellow. That is why they now speak like the Nigerian police that has abandoned investigating a crime while preferring to propagate lies against IPOB.”
“IPOB does not and can never support such barbarism seen in the murder of the Hausa woman and her children and those responsible for killing the mother and her children must be brought to book. This type of act orchestrated by the Nigerian DSS, the Nigerian Police, and the Army is the reason we advised pastor Kumuyi to consider postponing his crusade because we know what will happen and they will blame IPOB if anything happened to Christians in Abia State during and after the crusade.”
“Because the crusade was canceled, the Nigerian Security chose another target this time a House woman and her children to continue with their evil plan to create anarchy in Biafraland and may be declared the State of Emergency in Biafra land. IPOB is ahead of them who claimed to be men of God.”

“We advise Christians throughout the country of Nigeria especially those in Biafraland to form their own Christian Association because they are under an organization that does not have their interest at heart and can not protect them. They should understand that CAN has secretly sold them to the hands of Muslims because their leaders were Muslims before they joined Christianity.”
“The Christian Association of Nigeria CAN National leadership was there when one of Muslim CAN leaders in Kano state shamelessly supported the killing of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto state.”
The body of Biafra Agitators added “They said nothing but tacitly acquiesced to that support. You should concentrate on seeking justice for Deborah Yakubu and ensure that those responsible for her gruesome murder are fished out and punished rather than spend your energy accusing innocent IPOB falsely.”
