Media personality, Daddy Freeze has commended Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for his effort in seeking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential ticket.
Wike had gone up against former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki Governor Bala Mohammed, Udom Mohammed, Ayo Fayose, Dele Momodu and others, to contest for the PDP 2023 presidential ticket.
However, Atiku emerged the party’s 2023 flagbearer with a total of 371 votes, followed by Wike with 237 votes.
Reactions as Atiku emerges PDP presidential candidate
Reacting to Wike’s loss on Sunday, Daddy Freeze stated that the governor “fought a good fight” despite running against “titans”.
“Wike fought a good battle. Let’s give that up to him. Going against such titans, he tried!,” the media personality wrote on Instagram.
