An unidentified Indian woman has been forced to carry her husband around the streets over alleged infidelity in the marriage.

The incident happened in the Borpadaw Village, India on July 3, 2022.

According to reports, the woman’s husband had filled a missing person report after the woman went missing from home for a week , while her husband and family searched for her to no avail.

A residence of the village upon seeing the report disclosed to police officials that the woman was allegedly staying with her boyfriend.

Court permits Okorocha to travel abroad for medical attention

As punishment for her crime, the woman was forced to carry her husband on her shoulders in the streets of the village ,while he pulled her hair and hung shoes around her neck.

However, local police have arrested nine people connected to the incident and the woman has been sent to her family.
