Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has advised parents against buying smartphones for their underaged children.
Ibiyeomie gave the advice in reaction to the viral video of Chrisland schools pupils engaging in an immoral act.
The clergyman stated further that buying smartphones for minors does not count as an “act of civilisation”.

“Do not buy phones for any child who has not gained admission into the university. It may sound awkward to you that think it is civilisation.
“It is not civilisation. Let them use your own phones. A lot of immoral things pop up on these phones and tablets that are not good for kids’ consumption. Buy landlines in the house for them to reach you,” he said.
