Commissioner resigns from Kwara state Cabinet

The Commissioner for Special Duties in Kwara state has formally resigned her appointment.
In a statement announcing her decision, she writes, “I Aisha Ahman Pategi, the outgoing Commissioner for Special Duties, effective from today Friday, 28th August 2020, humbly wish to formally announce my resignation from the cabinet of His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.”
Reacting to the news, The state government through the Communications Commissioner, Mrs Afolabi Oshatimehin, said “The government has received the resignation of Hon Aisha Ahman Pategi, who was the former Commissioner for Special Duties. The government accepts same and wishes her the best in her future endeavours.”
Pategi was previously the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, before her redeployment to the Ministry of Special Duties following a minor cabinet reshuffle.
