Congresses: APC inaugurates appeal committee

By David Lawani
The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe Ph.D. bemoaned the attack visited on Kaduna-Abuja train by bandits.

Akpanudoedehe spoke on Thursday during the inauguration of the APC State Congresses Appeal Committees at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

He said those who are aggrieved due to the outcome of the congresses should not lose hope rather they use the mechanism of the appeal committee to present their cases and for possible resolutions.

He said it is quite said that the agents of destruction will not rest and soon all their activities will be nipped in the bud stressing that Nigerians should despair irrespective of these attacks.

“Nigerians by now have realized that the APC-led-government of President Muhammadu Buhari means well for Nigerians and is doing everything possible to deliver infrastructure to Nigerians amidst difficult economic times, globally.

Why we shifted state congresses to Oct. 16 -APC

“We must stay united so we can defeat the agents of destruction who have vowed to set Nigeria backward. Just this morning, an Abuja-Kaduna passenger train was attacked by criminals, depriving Nigerians of the services it provides. This is so despicable, but together we shall overcome them”, he said.

It will be recalled that since the congresses were concluded amidst confusion, and parallel exco members across the state emerged, some party members are still nursing grievances as the Appeal committees get set to hear their side of the stories.
