Constituents and benefitting communities have scored member representing Calabar Municipality and Odukpani, Hon. Ntufam Eta Mbora is high on effective representation.
They made this known while reacting to the latest phase of Constituency projects which are at various stages of completion around communities within the Constituency.
Projects being undertaken in the current phase include 3 classroom blocs at Dan Archibong Memorial Secondary School Usung Esuk, Government Primary School Odukpani, Qua Town, Primary School Akai Efa, and 6 classrooms blocs at PCN Primary School IBB in Calabar.
Others are a 500KVA transformer sited at Otop Otop Nyakassang, Ikot Uduak by MCC, Presbyterian Church, Graceland, Satellite Town, and Saint Augustine Primary School Old Odukpani Road in Calabar.
Also ongoing is a solar-powered borehole located at NUJ Press Center, State Housing Estate Calabar, Etta Agbor behind Fidelity Bank, Akim Market, Akpap Circus, and Community Technical College Ikot Effagha Mkpa.
One of the constituents and a former leader of Odukpani Legislative Council, Hon. Nyong Edet expressed delight and appreciation over the development.
“Our people are excited over the increasing numbers of projects attracted to Odukpani by our House of Representatives member.
“The street lights at Creek Town have awakened nightlife while the solar-powered borehole at Akpap Circus is going to address the challenge of portable drinking water and curtail the possible outbreak of water-borne disease.
“In education, the 3 classrooms blocs each at Dan Archibong Memorial Secondary school Usung Esuk and Primary School, Odukpani Qua Town are set to tackle accommodation shortfall in our schools.
“This is what we desired, not throwing cash around without any tangible infrastructure on the ground for an era”, he said.
Also speaking,a community leader in Otop Otop, Nyakassang in Calabar Municipality, Andrew Edoh said the 500 KVA transformer facilitated by the Ntufam Eta Mbora and undergoing installation within his community is apt and timely.
“We have been suffering from a perennial blackout for years now due to the continuous tripping of the closest overloaded transformer that was feeding my area. This is a big relief to us”

Comrade Udu Chairman of the Cross River State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists opined that the gesture would go a long way in ameliorating the suffering of residents of the area owing to irregular water supply by the State Water Board.
Speaking on the projects latest round of projects, , Hon. Eta Mbora disclosed that the projects were borne out of a meticulous need assessment study meant to meet the needs and yearnings of his people.
He added that it is incumbent on him to continually thrive to interfere and build synergy especially at the federal level with relevant stakeholders in order to attract vital projects needed by his people.
